The Shack

By William Paul Young

Discussion Group Topics

The Frackville Book Discussion Group will meet on Thursday, May 21 at 7pm to discuss The Shack by William Paul Young. A man's young daughter is abducted during a family vacation, and evidence suggests that she has been murdered in a remote shack in the Oregon wilderness. Still grieving for his loss four years later, he receives a note, apparently from God, asking him to return to the scene of his loss. What he finds there changes his life and his views on religion forever.

The group, with open invitation, has been meeting for more than 6 years and has read more than 72 fiction, non-fiction, best sellers and classic literature selections striving to increase knowledge on diverse topics and always enjoys new participants who can offer different insights and reflections to each new selection. Contact Karen Kehler or the Library for additional information at 874-3382.
