Water for Elephants

by Sara Gruen

Discussion Group Topics

With its spotlight on elephants, Gruen's romantic page-turner hinges on the human-animal bonds. The novel, told in flashback by nonagenarian Jacob Jankowski, recounts the wild and wonderful period he spent with the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth, a traveling circus he joined during the Great Depression.

Knitting is so Cool The knitter’s group is back in business just in time to make some great Christmas gifts. Don’t worry if you’re a beginner. We have a few pros who are glad to help you get started.

The group meets on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Come for as long as you want or as little as you want.
